Tonight's the Cake  Auction!

St. Andrew's  Gym
 
Parents, 
 
Please take a moment before the meeting to  discuss with your child how an 
auction works.  we'll have both live and  silent cakes.
 
Talk with them about how much money they are  allowed to bid (and if that 
amount is per cake or total)
 
Explain that there is a possibility that they  might not get the cake they 
want, or any cake at all, for that matter.  No  matter how hard parents try; 
every year there are families that end up with more  than one cake and other 
families that end up with none.  Talk about how you  want to handle that situation 
if it arises.
 
Remind them to be gracious winners as  well.
 
Please remember to sign up for the B&G -  both what your family will bring 
and how many people will be attending.  If  you are not attending the meeting 
tonight please contact Karen Sims and let her  know who and what you are
